A gentle, fragrance-free formula specially designed for parents and their young children.

About Tru Earth Eco Strips

Tru Earth Eco Strips are dissolvable, zero-waste laundry detergent sheets that can be used just like your favorite liquid, powder, or pod.

The biggest selling point of these strips is that they don’t require plastic packaging. But the detergent also offers quite a few benefits of its own:

  • Vegan and cruelty-free
  • Paraben-free
  • Phosphate-free
  • Certified hypoallergenic
  • Gluten-free
  • Made without palm oil
  • Made in Canada

Tru Earth Eco Strips contain just 13 ingredients (or 12, if you opt for the Fragrance-Free formula!).

Tru Earth recommends using one strip per load of laundry. However, you can easily customize your cleaning experience by using less or more.

A half-sheet is ideal for handwashing or small loads. The strips are even perforated for easy tearing!

You can safely use these laundry sheets in hot or cold water — they’ll dissolve either way. And there’s no need to worry about using Tru Earth Eco Strips with a septic tank.

Does Tru Earth Offer Different Laundry Formulas?

There are several versions of Tru Earth Eco Strips to choose from based on your individual needs:

Fresh Linen

The Fresh Linen formula features a subtle scent created with a blend of essential oils and synthetic fragrance.

Fragrance-Free

The Fragrance-Free formula offers all of the same cleaning power as the Fresh Linen formula. The only difference is the lack of fragrance (this formula is ideal for those with sensitive skin!).

Baby

The Baby formula is a gentler version of the Tru Earth Eco Strips specially designed for infants and children. It is also fragrance-free.

Platinum

The Platinum formula is a more powerful version of the original Eco Strips that is recommended for extra-dirty gear or sweaty workout apparel. It is available in both a Fresh Linen and Fragrance-Free version.

How Much Do Tru Earth Eco Strips Cost?

If sticking to a budget is high on your priority list, making the switch to a more sustainable laundry detergent can be a tough decision. So how does Tru Earth stack up to the laundry detergent at your local supermarket?

Laundry detergent is a household expense many of us take for granted! But did you know that the average home (in the United States) spends $80 per year on laundry detergent alone?

That $80 per year figure breaks down to about 21 cents per load of laundry on average.

Tru Earth Eco Strips cost as little as 40 cents per load with a subscription. Without a subscription, they cost as much as 62 cents per load.

Where is Tru Earth made?

Tru Earth is a rare case where manufacturing does not happen in South East Asia. Tru Earth is made in Canada.

No doubt the North American location presents many environmental advantages as it greatly reduces the impacts caused by long distance transportation.

How Are Tru Earth Eco Strips Packaged?

Tru Earth Eco Strips are packaged in a slim, compostable paper envelope. Not only does this save on transportation costs and minimize emissions but it also reduces the amount of plastic waste going into landfills around the world!

Where Are Tru Earth Eco Strips Sold?

All Tru Earth Eco Strips can be purchased directly through the Tru Earth website. You can choose between a one-time purchase or automatic subscription to ensure you never run out of laundry detergent.

You can also purchase this laundry detergent from popular online retailers like Amazon.
